Commission staff regularly assist Kenosha Area Transit in its planning efforts, including recently initiating a new short-range transit plan for the system.
At the request of the City of Kenosha, the Commission is initiating a new short-range transit plan that will include a review of existing transit services, an evaluation of transit services, and development of potential short-term transit recommendations.
Staff is currently assisting the City in organizing an Advisory Committee to provide guidance to technical staff during the planning process. Information and materials, including opportunities for public input, will be posted on this page as the planning process progresses.
