Advisory Services
County and local units of government frequently seek data, information, and advice from Commission staff. We respond on a regular basis to requests for planning and engineering data available in our files. These requests come from private and nonprofit interests as well.
Technical assistance is also provided on an ongoing basis to governmental agencies. Such assistance frequently relates to how best to approach zoning and other regulatory situations. It can also extend to a wide variety of concerns ranging from development standards to site recommendations dealing with such matters as vegetation protection and erosion control.
