Through a partnership with WEDC, the Commission can access and share local employment and industry data available through Lightcast (formerly EMSI).

Economic Modeling Data

The Commission has been given access to Lightcast (formerly EMSI) Developer software by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation to help provide economic data to communities in the Region. Lightcast Developer can provide economic data and analysis for any state, county, ZIP code, MSA, or areas defined by multiple states, counties, and/or ZIP codes.

Types of available reports include:

General demographic data and economic overviews
Industry and occupation data based on NAICS/SOC codes
Targeted industry/cluster analyses
Workforce/labor market analyses
Input-Output scenarios for potential business expansion/contraction

Lightcast Data Request

Commission staff is accepting Lightcast Developer data requests from county and local economic development organizations and units of government in the Region. To initiate a request, please submit the following:
