Commission staff regularly assist the City of Racine and Racine County in their planning efforts, including completing the most recent short-range plan for public transit in Racine County in 2013.
At the request of the City and County of Racine, the Commission prepared a short-range transit plan for public transit in Racine County. The plan includes recommendations for transit service and capital improvements for both the City and County transit systems over the period 2013 to 2017.
The plan was guided by an Advisory Workgroup of representatives from all units of government in Racine County and a wide variety of agencies and populations with an interest in transportation in the County.
