The Commission’s transportation planning process is being reviewed by FHWA and FTA this summer to ensure the process continues to meet federal transportation planning requirements. As part of this federal certification review, FHWA and FTA is seeking public comment on the process. The 2024 Certification Review identifies the options for sharing feedback.
Applications are being accepted through September 9, 2024, for 2025 and 2026 funding through FTA’s Section 5310 Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Program. Visit the Section 5310 Program page to learn more.
Commission staff recently submitted the Metropolitan Milwaukee Priority Pollution Reduction Action Plan to the U.S. EPA. The plan is the first deliverable under the EPA Climate Pollution Reduction Grant program and marks the first milestone in a multi-year planning effort, making the four-county Milwaukee metro area eligible to apply for grants during the future implementation phase.
